Based on the Hiace Commuter Bus, the TGS Prisoner Transporter can transport up to 6 prisoners. A reinforced steel mesh partition has been installed to ensure the safety of the driver and passengers. The Hiace allows additional law-enforcement officials to travel with the prisoners due to the extra bench seat behind the driver’s compartment. To protect the occupants from the outside, security grilles protect the windshield and side windows, headlight, and rear lights. A blue beacon has been fitted to the roof.
