The half-panel van is created from the Hiace Commuter Bus and allows organisations to have a multi-purpose vehicle capable of transporting both goods and passengers. The front of the Commuter Bus remains the same, but the rear of the passenger compartment has been converted into a goods area. This has been done by adding a partition and plywood reinforcements inside the body panels, and replacing the glass windows with metal panels.
